missing in action

This is a super hectic week for me, and one of the easiest things to let slide for now is blogging. On Saturday, we are moving to a bigger townhouse, in a nicer neighborhood. It’s already Wednesday and I don’t feel like I’ve been able to accomplish anything I wanted to do by now. And my to-do list will keep piling up since I’m going to D.C. for a conference and won’t be back home until Friday afternoon! Thank goodness that J is willing to pick up the slack and do a lot of packing and transporting while I’m away.

So while I am excited about the new place and the fact that this is where Jillian will spend the first months of her life, I’m stressed about getting everything done (packing, moving all the furniture, switching utilities, setting up cable/internet, cleaning the old place…).

On top of all this, lots of other things having been racking my brain… what it means to raise a daughter, traveling for the holidays, buying a four-door car, and work (can’t forget about the place where I spend 8-10 hours a day!).

Needless to say, I’m feeling a little overwhelmed…

Stace I just want to encourage you to be thankful for the hecticness! God is doing such miraculous things right now in your life – new home, baby, etc.. Just take it one day at a time and try to enjoy every moment, even the crazy ones! – Take care
