half way to a half

I have a confession… I’m back to running! Three weeks ago, I signed up for a half-marathon in October.  So far, my training has been going well.  I run 3 times a week and cross-train once a week.  Thanks to my in-house coach, I am sticking to the plan (even when I don’t want to sometimes).

This week, my long run was 6.3 miles! That is almost half the distance of a half-marathon! I won’t discuss pacing (suffice to say, I’m extremely slow), but at least I am running. I have 9 more weeks of training, so I’m sure I’ll get a little bit faster, and I’ll get in the other 7 miles 🙂
