So, I’ve been MIA for a while. Lots of things have been going on… work, family, travel. But, I’m trying to get back in the saddle – in several areas:
- Work. I’m back to work after traveling for 2 weeks straight. All the travel was work-related: three conferences in different cities. I had three poster presentations and two oral presentations. Since I’m on the job market, it was important to meet and talk to lots of people. Thankfully, all went well, and I feel confident about my applications.
- Running. I have not been feeling up to running since my half-marathon during Labor Day weekend, but today was my first day back running. I ran pretty slowly and walked some too. I’m already feeling some aches and pain, but I have to start somewhere. I hope to stick to the workout plan that J made for me, which includes 3 days of running 40 minutes + 20 minutes of strength (squats, pushups, etc.).
And last, but not least…
- Baby. I’m back in the saddle when it come to BABY!!! Yep, J and I are having Baby J #2!! Here’s a peak 🙂
